The opera “Don Pasquale” will be performing in North Cyprus for the first time. The play will have its country premiere on Wednesday, December 20th at the Gazimağusa (Famagusta)-Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Palace at 8 pm. The play will also be staged at Lefkoşa (Nicosia)-NEU Atatürk Culture and Congress Center on Friday, December 22nd at 8 pm.
The State Opera and Ballet Coordination Center (KKTCDOB), said that the comedy opera “Don Pasquale” composed by the Italian composer G.Donizetti is being performed by the State Opera and Ballet Coordination Center (KKTCDOB), the Presidential Symphony Orchestra (TRNC PSO) and the Republic of Türkiye.
It is staged as a joint production of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet (TCDOBGM).
