A fire broke out in Yılanadası in Girne at around 12:45 pm following a snapped overhead power line causing trees to burn, it has been reported.
Fire fighters were able to extinguish the fire. A date palm tree, a pine tree, a cypress tree, a locust tree, flowers of a bougainvillea tree, a utility pole, an electric meter on a lighting pole, and dry grass were destroyed as a result of the fire.
