Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu attended the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Türkiye.
Making evaluations about North Cyprus taking part in the (OTS) extraordinary summit, Ertuğruloğlu said that having observer membership within the organization is an extremely important and historical event.
Reminding that OTS Foreign Ministers’ attended the summit, Ertuğruloğlu said, “Just as we know there are circles that do not welcome our membership, especially supporters of the Greek Cypriot side, we are also aware that there are circles that are intensifying efforts to end our membership. This is not possible. This membership has been realized and will continue, and when the day comes, there will be a transition from observer membership to full membership.” he said.
