A bi-communal concert is to take place in line with the Türkiye and Greece tragedies!


 

A bi-communal concert will take place today for those who lost their lives due to the train accident in Greece and the earthquakes in Türkiye.
The Haravghi newspaper reports that the concert will be held at the “Elefteria Square” in South Lefkoşa and money collected from the tickets will be donated to help earthquake victims.
Among artists to take part in the concert are Annita Konstandiu, Arda Gündüz, Ahmet Okan, Yorgos Kaloyiru, Katerina Parashu, the “Let’s Sing Together” group, Niyal Öztürk, Umut Albayrak, Seren Coşaner, Dimitris Mesimeris, together with the Bi-Communal Choir for Peace.
Neşe Yasın, Arif Albayrak, Alasios, Mihalis Christofidis, Andreas Parashos and Tamer Öncül will also recite poems at the concert.
The concert will be held under the auspices of the Lefkoşa Greek Cypriot Mayor Konstandinos Yorgacis and Lefkoşa Turkish Mayor Mehmet Harmancı.
