Food prices in North Cyprus have increased!


 

It has been reported that almost all prices of products in North Cyprus supermarkets have increased.
According to Havadis News, despite campaigns on many products, vegetable, and fruit prices, as well as prices on meat and chicken, have reached their peak.

THE CHEAPEST FOOD COSTS 280 TL
Following market research by Havadis News, consumers who shop at supermarkets pay between 450 TL for 1 kg of lamb, 500 TL for lamb skewers, and 479 TL for a kilo of chops.
Ground beef is sold for around 340 TL, sheftalia (şeftali kebabı) 280 TL, and Adana kebab 310 TL, at supermarkets.

CHICKEN PRICES HAVE INCREASED TOO
Prices of chicken meat have also increased it has been reported. The price of chicken thighs is now 84.00 TL, tenderloin 106.00 TL, cutlet 108.00 TL, thigh skewers 118,00 TL, chicken wings 99.00 TL, breast filet 106.00 TL, minced chicken breast 106 TL.

FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRICES SOAR!
The prices of apples at supermarkets are now 33 TL per kilo, and 1 kilo of loquat is 65.95 TL.
A kilo of strawberries is now sold for 56 TL, 120 TL for 1 kg of cherries, 120 TL for 1 kg of plums, 26 TL for quince, 33 TL for 1 kg of banana, and 45.95 TL for kiwis.
A kilo of watermelon is sold for 7.95 TL, and a kilo of melon is sold for 5.95 TL, at supermarkets.
A kilo of tomatoes is sold for 20 TL and 1 kilo of cucumber is 24.95 TL, the research reports.
