Erdoğan arrives in North Cyprus


 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan pays his first official visit to North Cyprus.
Erdoğan was welcomed at Ercan Airport by Turkish Cypriot Leader Ersin Tatar with a military ceremony.


After he was welcomed by Tatar, the two are now having a meeting at Tatar’s office. A joint press conference will be held after the meeting, it has been reported.


During the talks to be held as part of his visit, views on steps to be taken in all the areas concerning the bilateral relations will be exchanged, and the developments on the island will be addressed thoroughly in terms of regional and global aspects.
