Former US Ambassador to Cyprus Judith Garber has passed away


Former United States Ambassador to Cyprus Judith Garber has passed away.

It has been reported that Garber, who served as the US Ambassador to Cyprus between 2019 and 2022, passed away on May 4.

The US Embassy in Cyprus announced Garber’s death on social media.

The US Embassy in Cyprus shared a post on social media stating that Garber tirelessly supported UN-led efforts to find a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus problem.

It was also stated that Garber saw Cyprus as a special part of her career.

Garber’s memorial service will be held online on Thursday, May 9 at 18.30 (Cyprus time) at https://www.templerodefshalom.org/worship/livestream/.
