The “Meeting of Languages and Cultures” event will be held in Kormacit (Kormakitis).
It was stated that UNFICYP will also be contributing to the event, which will be held on Sunday, March 10, by the Cyprus Bilingualism Association, the Cyprus Linguistics Association and the Kormakitis Centre for Cooperation
The event program, which is open to the public, is as follows:
9:00: Departure from Lefkoşa (Nicosia) – Ledra Palace barricade by bus
10.30-11.00: Kormakitis Centre for Cooperation
11.00-11.10: Short video screening called “The Languages of Cyprus” and “Voicing the invisible”
11.10-11.30: A dialogue on Sanna Language and multilingualism in Cyprus
11.30-12.00: Language games
12.30- Walking to Medosh Tulips
13.30: Break for lunch
16.30: Return to Lefkoşa (Nicosia)
