Two individuals have been arrested in Girne (Kyrenia) following a police raid under the name ‘Umut Operation’ by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team.
According to information by police, 1 pill believed to be MDMA (Ecstasy) type drug, a cocaine-type drug weighing approximately 50 grams in ready-to-sell packages, and 1.825 Euro, 300 Dollars and 2.060 TL cash, believed to have been obtained from the sale of drugs, were detected at the residence of a 22 and 23-year-old and taken as evidence. The individuals in question have been arrested and an investigation continues.
