Agricultural Research Institute (TAE) Director Cem Karaca said, “Following a 10-year study, we registered the olive type in Türkiye with high yield and characteristics. Pointing out that the number of olive trees registered in Türkiye and North Cyprus as “Island Native” last week is increasing day by day” Karaca was cited as saying.

“Our registered olive attracted attention not only for its oil quality but also for its high-quality compounds. For us registering our olives was an important step, and we achieved it.” he said.
