A man was caught at Ercan Airport while trying to board a flight with a fake passport yesterday.
The police statement said that the person in question presented a fake passport and residence permit to airport officials at around 7 p.m. yesterday.
The statement also said that the individual was detected following suspicious movements.
The person in question has been arrested and an investigation is ongoing.
