A 27-year-old was injured in a traffic accident in Çatalköy (Agios Epiktitos) this morning.
According to a police report, Olakunle Idris Oladimeji, driving on the Beşparmaklar avenue heading east, who was speeding lost steering control and crashed into a garden wall of a home at around 5:45 am.
Driver of the vehicle, Oladimeji who was trapped in the vehicle, was saved by firefighters and a medical team. Oladimeji’s left leg was broken it has been reported.
Oladimeji was admitted to Dr Akçiçek State Hospital for treatment and was later moved to orthopaedic ward.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
