According to a police report, counterfeit money has been circulating in Güzelyurt.
A total of fake 50 TL and 100 TL notes (amounting to 250 TL) have been circulated by two customers at a cafe and a petrol station in Güzelyurt on May 2nd.
It has been reported that two people aged 23 and 20 were detected buying alcohol and petrol with counterfeit money.
The serial numbers of the fake TL bank notes are as follows:
A 625 255 060, A 352 712 566
Police have warned citizens to be extra cautious.
