Secretary of Ministry of Interior released on bail


 

Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Remziye Seven, who was arrested following the ongoing investigation on the ‘fake diploma scandal’, appeared in the Lefkoşa (Nicosia) District Court yesterday. The court decided that she be released on bail pending trial.

Following the Lefkoşa (Nicosia) District Court decision, Remziye Seven has been released on a pending trial with a surety bond of 750, 000 TL each for three Turkish Cypriot citizen bailsmen, a 50 thousand TL pecuniary guarantee, an international travel ban, and a police check every week. The court also decided that she surrender her travel documents to the police.
