The United Nations Secretary-General’s Personal Representative for Cyprus Maria Angela Holguin is holding contacts in the island as part of her ongoing efforts to achieve common ground between the two sides on the island to re-launch negotiations.
Holguin was received on Wednesday by Turkish Cypriot Leader Ersin Tatar at noon.
Earlier on Wednesday, the UN personal envoy met with the leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration Nikos Christodoulides separately.
Before her arrival to the island on Tuesday, Holguin met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Ankara.
Holguin is expected to leave the island on Tuesday, May 14 after completing her contacts.
