Türkiye makes a donation to North Cyprus Police General Directorate


 

Vehicles, Materials, Weapons, Ammunition, and Equipment that were donated by the Head of the Special Operations Department of the Turkish General Directorate of Security, for the modernization of the Police Headquarters Directorate of North Cyprus, were delivered following a handover ceremony held at the Police General Directorate today.

Speaking at the ceremony Deputy Chief of Police Kasım KUNİ said that the General Directorate of Police was the guarantor of peace and security in the country and was being equipped with tools, equipment, and technical equipment in line with the requirements of the day and age and will always be able to compete with other world police organizations, and thus will always be one step ahead in the fight against crime.

Türkiye Chief of Special Police Unit Selami Türker, North Cyprus Deputy Chief of General of the General Directorate Kasım KUNİ and Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin FEYZİOĞLU, the handover protocol was signed and the ceremony ended with the presentation of the donated materials.
