Two arrested for possession of drugs in Girne!


 

Two individuals aged 38 and 35 were arrested in Girne (Kyrenia) yesterday at around 5 pm following a police raid by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team.
According to a police report, a substance believed to be methamphetamine weighing around 9 grams, cannabis weighing around 2 grams, one glass pipe believed to contain drug deposits, and 1,800 Turkish Lira in cash believed to be obtained from drug sales was detected and taken as evidence. The individuals in question have been arrested. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
