Winners of the “Stelios Bi-Communal Business Cooperation Awards 2023” have been awarded!


 

Global Easy Group creator and owner Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou presented awards at the 13th Stelios Bi-Communal Cooperation Awards 2023.10 Greek Cypriot and 10 Turkish Cypriot businessmen), of the bi-communal teams were awarded. A cash prize of € 10,000 was awarded at the ceremony held online yesterday via Zoom., Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou congratulated the ten winning teams. All award-winning business people, opinion leaders and media representatives were invited to the online ceremony.
Teams of 46 Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots (92 participants in total) have jointly applied to participate in the “Stelios Bi-Communal Business Cooperation Awards 2023”. This year, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou awarded 200,000 Euros in cash to the 10 most successful collaborating teams. The total value of the awards given by the Stelios Foundation since 2009 has now reached 4,190,000 Euros, including 200 thousand Euros given this year.
It has been announced that the most important objective of the “Stelios Bi-Communal Business Cooperation Awards” is to contribute to promoting business activities between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots and to consolidate lasting peace on the island.
Congratulating the winners and the participants, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou said: “I am very happy because we received 92 applications despite the unfavorable climate on the island, which is very satisfying given the current situation.”
