Ferry services from Anamur to Girne to recommence in June

Ferry services from Anamur to Girne ( Kyrenia) are set to commence in June, announced Mersin’s Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan during a press conference at Anamur Pier on Thursday.

Governor Pehlivan, accompanied by other officials, inspected the ongoing “Pier Project” at the site. He highlighted that Anamur is the closest mainland point to the Northern Cyprus in the Mediterranean.

“The company here has leased a ferry with a capacity of 450 passengers” he said.

Starting in June, passengers will be able to travel from here to the Port of Girne in just 1.5 hours.
