In a tragic road collision that occurred yesterday afternoon in Nicosia, 58-year-old Lambros Georgiou from Anthoupoli lost his life.
Around 3:45 p.m., Georgiou was driving his truck on the Alonas – Platanistasas road when, under circumstances still being investigated, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to plunge into a ravine approximately four meters deep.
Georgiou was found outside the vehicle and was taken by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Nicosia Traffic Police are continuing their investigations.
