The Cyprus Turkish Animal Breeders Association held a protest complaining that they were no longer able to produce due to increasing costs.
A group of producers gathered in front of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources building and poured milk on the floor during the protest.
The Head of Animal Producers and Breeders Union Mustafa Naimoğulları said that they had held many meetings on this issue explaining their problems and demands, but that these fell on deaf ears.
Accusing the government of being against animal breeders, Naimoğulları warned that their protests will escalate.
