Man jumped to his death following huge explosion and fire!


 

According to a police report, following an explosion a fire broke out at the 89th flat on 8th floor of the Terrace Apartment Building on Zafer Muharrem Street in Gazimağusa (Famagusta) in Sakarya at around 1:30 am.

A 33-year-old residing in the flat panicked and jumped to his death from the eighth floor shortly after the explosion. The reason of the blaze is unknown.

According to the report, 33-year-old Şeref Uygun who panicked after the explosion, jumped from the balcony and fell to his death.

The fire was extinguished by the Fire Brigade Team. The building was then evacuated and cordoned off by the police in line with security measures. An investigation has been launched.
