Man pronounced dead at scene following fatal crash in Nicosia!


 

Çelik Altıner has died early this morning following a crash on the Lefkoşa (Nicosia) Northern Ring Road.

The police said that driver of LK 659 registered vehicle, Çelik Altıner, 41, was heading west on the Lefkoşa Kuzey Çevre road at around 1.30 this morning when the vehicle lost control due to speeding and smashed into the middle concrete refuge hitting a traffic sign that was on the median strip, he then came to a standstill after hitting a concrete wall.

Çelik Altıner was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is underway.
