The Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality (LTB) will be organizing a World Children’s Day event for all children on Thursday, June 1, and Friday, June 2.
A joint concert by the Lefkoşa (Nicosia) Municipal Children’s Orchestra (LBO) and Çok Sesli Gençlik Choir and the Girne (Kyrenia) Chamber Choir will take place on Thursday, June 1 at 8 pm at the Rauf Denktaş University Cultural Center (The old Mısırlızade Cinema).
The event on Friday, June 2, will start with the ‘Karagöz Gizli Hazine Oyunu’ (Karagöz Hidden Treasure game).
Registrations can be made by calling 0542 888 19 92 for the play, which will take place at the Arabahmet Kültür Evi (Arabahmet Culture House) at 2 pm.
Workshops will be held at the Kızılbaş Park on the second day of activities between 6 pm and 7 pm.
