A person who tried to smuggle meat from the south Cyprus was arrested.
The police reported that 408 lamb heads, 44.2 kg of tongue and 103 pieces of meat were detected following a search of a vehicle driven by E.K. (M-52). He was detected at the first degree military restricted zone in Gayretköy (Avlona). A police investigation into the incident continues.
