The Larnaka Municipality has announced that the summer operating hours for the Temporary Green Point will remain in effect until September 30. The Green Point operates from Tuesday to Sunday, opening at 6:00 in the morning and closing at 7:30 in the evening. The facility will be closed on Mondays.
Residents can dispose of various materials free of charge at the depot, including green garden waste, timber, furniture, metals, paper, cardboard boxes, PMD, glass packaging, clothing, electrical and electronic devices, frying oils, household batteries (up to 2kg), lamps, and fluorescents.
For those opting to utilize the municipality’s transportation service for materials from their residence to the Green Point, prepayment arrangements can be made through the Cleaning or Gardens and Parks Departments.
